Nim is 59 years old and lives in the Sampov Meas district located of Pursat Province, Cambodia. She is married and blessed with five children, one of whom, her son, is dependent on her. To make a living, she has a business selling desserts.

Nim is a third-cycle client with VisionFund (Kiva’s partner). The help that she has already received in the form of past loans has enabled her to increase her working capital. Now, she is leading a group of three female members to apply for a new loan. With her portion of this new loan, which is 1,400,000 KHR, Nim will buy wood to build a proper stall for her business. She dreams of running a small store at home that enables her to sell dessert more conveniently. She would also like to sell some grocery items so that she can boost her income even higher.
