A loan of $775 helped to buy rice, sugar, oil and noodles.

Cenit's story

Cenit, 51, is a cheerful, dynamic, enterprising woman. She lives with her spouse and two adult children; she also helps to care for a grandson. She lives in her own house that she and her spouse built. Cenit’s work is a grocery store that’s set up in a very well-setup space at home; it’s been in operation more than three years. Her daughter, Betsy, helps her in the store providing the very best customer service. She considers her business to be profitable because it’s in constant demand and this is a great advantage for her to cover household expenses as well as to have time to support her children. She comments that in addition she very much wants to enlarge the business and vary the products to earn more income. This is her 8th MFP loan and she hopes to be able to buy rice, sugar, oil and noodles, among others to stock the store because she believes that the more products she has the more sales she’ll make.
