A loan of $3,000 helped to pay for two calves, wheat, barley and alfalfa to feed the cattle.

Narine's story

Narine lives in Vosketas village, Aragatsotn region, with her family: husband, parents-in-law, son and 2 daughters. The main source of income for the family is agriculture. They raise cows and cultivate wheat and barley. Because of unfavorable weather conditions this year, Narine was not able to gather enough wheat and barley to use as forage for the cattle. Thus, Narine has applied for this loan to purchase wheat, barley and alfalfa to feed the cattle during winter. With the loan's help Narine will also purchase 2 calves. This will permit her to receive more milk and gather additional, income from its sales. Development of cattle breeding is vital for Narine to ensure economical stability and better living standards for her family.
