A loan of $600 helped a member to purchase 25 sacks of charcoal to sell.

Souliath Abeke's Group's story

This is a group composed of two women who mutually guarantee each other. Souliath Abeke, the group's official, is 32 years old, married, and the mother of three children, all in school. The oldest and the youngest are 10 and 3 years old, respectively. Souliath Abeke has been selling sacks of charcoal out of her home for a few years. She gets her supplies from wholesalers at affordable prices with the aim of reselling them to retailers and households. With the goal of bolstering her working capital and satisfying her customers, Souliath Abeke requested and obtained financing from Finadev. This financing will enable her to maximize her profits and to help with her children's schooling. Souliath Abeke is the one found at the left in the photo.
