A loan of $700 helped buy products (shoes, perfumes, creams, nail polish and others) to increase the quantity of her goods in stock.

Olinda's story

Olinda is married and the mother of 4 children who all attend School, lives in her own house with her family and doesn't support anyones else. She's a trader and owns her own business selling various products. With this loan she intends to buy products (shoes, perfumes, creams, nail polish and others) to increase the quantity of her goods in stock. In future she wishes to expand her business into other areas and to this end, she commits to duly paying off the loan in order to solicit further loans from Hluvuku. Her challenge is the Mozambican Metical's inflation in relations to South Africa's currency where she buys her goods and the high cost of customs charges.
