A loan of $400 helped a member to increase her supply of plantains, vegetables and fruits.

Groupe Ada.'s story

Christine is 38 years old, single, and the mother of five children between the ages of 13 months and 15 years. Three of her children attend school already. She has been a vendor in a market in the capital for 14 years. She sells fresh produce (corn, bananas, plantains, vegetables, tomatoes, fruits) according to the seasons. Sales of bananas and plantains are lucrative, but she often runs out of them because her supplies are short, and this makes it difficult to meet the demand of her customers.
This loan will allow her to stock up on quantities large enough to meet the needs of her customers, and therefore increase her sales and her profits. She will reinvest a part of the profits in her business in order to diversify it, and the other part will allow her to meet the needs of her family.
