Christine is 38 years old, single, and the mother of five children between the ages of 13 months and 15 years. Three of her children attend school already. She has been a vendor in a market in the capital for 14 years. She sells fresh produce (corn, bananas, plantains, vegetables, tomatoes, fruits) according to the seasons. Sales of bananas and plantains are lucrative, but she often runs out of them because her supplies are short, and this makes it difficult to meet the demand of her customers.
This loan will allow her to stock up on quantities large enough to meet the needs of her customers, and therefore increase her sales and her profits. She will reinvest a part of the profits in her business in order to diversify it, and the other part will allow her to meet the needs of her family.

Elle est commerçante dans un marché de la capitale depuis 14 ans où elle vend des vivres frais (maïs, bananes, plantains, légumes, tomate, fruits) selon les vente de bananes et plantains est une activité qui rapporte, mais la petitesse de son stock de marchandises entraine de nombreuses ruptures et ne lui permettent pas de satisfaire convenablement sa clientèle. Ce crédit lui permettra alors de s'approvisionner en grande quantité afin de répondre à la demande de ses clients et de ce fait d'augmenter ses ventes et son bénéfice. Elle réinvestira une partie de ce bénéfice dans son activité afin de le diversifier et l'autre pour subvenir aux besoins de sa famille.

This loan is part of ACEP Cameroun's loan program targeting poor clients who require smaller loans thant ACEP normally disburses. The smaller loan size allows clients with micro-enterprises to borrow and repay the funds they need to grow. By supporting this loan, you are expanding financial access to entrepreneurs with very little starting capital, including many who have never taken out a loan.
