Doruntinë is a twenty-four-year-old single woman. She lives with her entire family in a small village. Currently, she works for a private printing company earning a very low salary. She is very ambitious and hardworking. Recently she started her own business harvesting apples to sell. As her family owned a large parcel of land already, she is able to use this area to grow and plant fruit.
This business will be very “fruitful”, however in the beginning it requires more commitment of time and effort before it can just be maintained while still making lot of income. Doruntinë is in need of a loan to prepare the land for the harvest. This loan will help her to start the business. In the future she hopes over three years to be able to sell 3,000 kg of apples.
She is very grateful for the loan from Kiva lenders.
