A loan of $600 helped to diversify her product line by purchasing new fabrics to better accommodate her clients.

Rafoat's story

Rafoat R. is 38 years old. She is married, and she has 3 children. Her husband is unemployed at the present time, which is why she is the only one who is currently earning money to support their family. Rafoat and her husband are raising their children with love and are trying to ensure that their kids have everything they need as they grow up.
Rafoat has been running her business already for 7 years. She sells fabrics, which are supplied from Dubai, United Arabian Emirates, and Kyrgyzstan, for the national dresses. The national dresses in Tajikistan are very popular and are a very important item for the dowry of any girl. Rafoat has trading spaces in three local markets. Because she is always very polite and has good taste in clothes, she has developed a dedicated and loyal client base in each of her three sales locations.
Rafoat is trying to develop a wider range of goods to meet the ever-changing demands of her customers and to satisfy the needs of her clients who have different levels of income. Currently Rafoat is requesting a loan in the amount of $600 to be repaid over a term of 6 months to order a new stock of fabrics from Dubai. She would like to thank everybody who made the decision to support her and promises to pay the loan back within the 6-month term.
