Maria Auxiliadora Group's story

The women's communal bank “Maria Auxiliadora” began to work with Fundación Paraguaya in 2010. The communal bank is made up of 15 women from the same area and all are long-standing members within the communal bank. The women are very united, responsible and supportive and they demonstrate that they are eager to work and to get ahead.

Agueda is a member of this hardworking-group and says that all of her efforts are for her family and for growing as a small-businesswoman. She makes a living selling vegetables and eggs. It is thanks to her sales that she can contribute to the expenses of the household and in this way feel useful. Agueda is requesting a loan in order to buy all kinds of vegetables and in this way be able to have a well-stocked business.
