A loan of $525 helped to pay for labor costs and to buy 5 rolls of barbed wire.

Reynaldo's story

Reynaldo is 37 years old and he has a 6-year-old child. He is a farmer and he plants beans and corn. He did not go to school, and he started learning how to do his job when he was 8 years old, together with his brothers. This is an activity traditionally passed down, and it currently provides him with an income; he sows his lands with his brothers, and on top of this he breeds and fattens animals, and he sells eggs.
He is requesting a loan to pay for labor costs and to buy 5 rolls of barbed wire: he wants to build a fence to protect his crops from cattle’s appetite. He aims at succeeding in expanding his farming area and in offering a better future to his son.
