A loan of $775 helped to buy perfume and cosmetics.

Kelly's story

Kelly, 47, is a cheerful, enthusiastic woman. She’s a teacher by profession and currently is exercising it. However, she also sells cosmetics.

She lives in her own house with her parents, two brothers and her adult son. For her, selling cosmetics is very enjoyable. She uses catalogues to offer products to her friends and acquaintances personally and offers up to 15 days credit. She’s been in this business for three years and does very well because of the demand her products have.

She likes her work because it provides extra income and she improves her economy this way. It gives her free time and it has made her well-known in the social circle she belongs to. She plans to grow and to open a locale to sell perfume and cosmetics so she is grateful to MFP for the loan granted and once again promises to be punctual with this latest loan. On the other hand, she feels good and satisfied with her group in the communal bank. She considers it to be a responsible group that’s concerned for the wellbeing of its members and with the punctuality of their payments.

She will use the requested 2,000 new soles to buy cosmetics and perfumes in a variety of presentations in larger amounts to have on hand when her customers require them.
