A loan of $1,550 helped to buy sacks of sugar and rice.

Alejandro's story

Alejandro was born in the city of Ayacucho but now lives in the city of Cusco. He is 62 years old and married, and the fruits of this beautiful relationship include his two children. Alejandro has a small grocery store in his home where he sells different staple products, such as rice, sugar, noodles, breads, containers of milk, juice drinks, sodas, detergents, and much more. He currently is in need of a loan to buy consumer goods, for example sacks of sugar and rice, since it is more convenient to buy in bulk. It has been several years since he began this business and it has been going well. Alejandro is a member of the community bank “Los Andes” in the Asociación Arariwa in the city of Cusco.
