Al-Mha Group's story

Maha is 39 years old, and married with six children. She lives in Aden, Yemen, and is a member of a group called Al-mha, which is made up of six ladies in the same city.

Maha is a very active woman, and she sells different items like yeast and rechargeable phone cards. She works every day, and she is able to make a fair monthly profit. She started her business by selling yeast to her neighbours, then she expanded her business to sell her products around the area.

Maha is requesting a loan of 50,000 Yemen Rial (YER) from AMB to buy yeast and rechargeable phone cards for her business. She hopes to open a general store to make more profit, and to improve her living conditions.
