Robinah lives in Kampala, Uganda. She is married, with six children, and two of her children go to school. She takes care of an additional family member (mother).
She is a poultry farmer. She operates her business from home on a retail basis. She has been in this business for the past eight years. She works seven days a week.
She has requested a loan of UGX 700,000 from MCDT – SACCO to buy more bags of poultry feed, vaccines, and feeding utensils. Her major business challenges are transportation and seasonality. Her goals and aspirations are to build more poultry houses and to become a large poultry farmer.
She lives in her own house, and the family has access to electricity and piped water. Her monthly expenses include school fees and food.
