Louise E's story

Louise, 28, is the mother of three children. She is married and lives at West Point. She stopped her education in the 12th grade. Her children are between the ages of 3 and 8 and are in school. Her husband is a businessman. He gave her the initial capital to start in her business. She has had this business for the past four years. She sells mineral water, sardines, soft drinks, hair grease, biscuits and many other items. With the profit that she generates from the business she buys more goods, pays back her loan and assists her husband with the expenditures of the family. She is requesting her third loan from BRAC Liberia to purchase more soft drinks, hair grease, biscuits and sardines for the business. Her dream is to educate her children and build a house.
