Vahide is married and has two grown children, ages 20 and 23 years old. She is a widow; her husband passed away many years ago.
To earn a living and pay for the education of her children, Vahide has worked making and selling handicrafts for more than ten years.
She really had to work hard to support and raise her children as a widow alone. At the beginning, she started to sell her work in her neighborhood, and now she has managed to expand her selling to also include the city.
Vahide is requesting a loan to buy material for her work and to improve the conditions for her workroom. This loan will help her to increase her handicraft products.
In the future, she hopes to open her own shop where she can sell her items and thereby secure a better income and future for her family.
She is very thankfull to all Kiva lenders!
