A loan of $4,600 helped a member to restock more drinks for his business to sell.


Waefeso Group's story

Henry, who is in his early 40s, is married and lives with his wife and his two children, who go to school. For three years now, Henry has been earning a living by running a grocery business. He works from midday to 10pm daily and he is able to make a good monthly profit. He is requesting a 10th loan from Tujijenge Tanzania. He used the previous loans to buy more drinks, a fridge, a TV, and plastic chairs for the grocery business. He has paid back all his loans successfully. He is requesting the new loan to restock more drinks for the business to sell. His dream is to one day be able to build his own nice house. He will share this loan with his loan group "Waefeso" which totals 13 members. The members of the group will hold each other accountable for paying back the loan.
