A loan of $525 helped to buy cattle to establish a new business.

Rakiba's story

Rakiba is a very hard-working and determined woman. She was born in a village and has substantial experience in animal husbandry and growing crops. After she completed her schooling, Rakiba began working in the fields to earn money so she could help her parents. After getting married, she began working in farming again. Rakiba mainly grows wheat, barley and other crops. For the last 4 months, she has been doing this type of business independently, with the help of her husband. They sell their harvest directly to local residents at a price that is lower than what is charged at the market. For the purpose of improving her skills, Rakiba took part in the training course "Get Ahead" that was organized by the National Association of Businesswomen. Rakiba plans to set up a business in animal husbandry, and for that reason she is seeking a loan in the amount of 2,500 Tajikistan Somoni to buy cattle. She is waiting for your kind assistance.
