A loan of $425 helped to buy deli meats, dairy products, pastries, meat and snacks.

Esperanza Del Carmen's story

Esperanza is 47 years old and lives in the town of San Juan de la Concepción. She started her business with a severance package she had from a previous job in the Free Trade Zone of Managua where she worked for 8 years. Little by little she invreased her inventory with loans from other finance institutions. Today she is asking for a loan from AFODENIC to buy basic grains, canned goods, deli meats, dairy products, pastries, meats and snacks to increase her business inventory. She is a single mother of 2 children whom she works to support every day for a better future. They help her in the business. At first it was difficult due to lack of business experience, but over time she learned and today it is going well for her.
