Due to strange circumstances he had to become the father and mother for his two children, who are now 6 and 18 years old and for whom he fights for day in and day out in order to turn them into good people who are above all, better off than he is.

Roque works every day as a laborer on an estate in his city. With this job he is able to settle the expenses of his home with a lot of effort. He works around eight hours a day and believes his job is going well because he is very friendly with the clients and above all, because he is very determined to get ahead in life and to be a source of pride for his children.

Roque is very grateful to Kiva lenders because thanks to the help they have offered he will be able to make improvements to his house, specifically to improve his son's room which has a cracked wall and also to buy a bed since he doesn't have one right now. In this way he will be able to offer a better quality of life to his children and continue fighting every day to be able to realize his greatest dream: To have his own house.
