A loan of $500 helped to buy more shoes and stock his business, in order to expand his coverage.

Julio César's story

Julio is thirty-eight years old and in a relationship. He is a hard-working person and has been selling shoes in different places for six years now. He got into this business because of a friend that also sells shoes. Then he started this business, as selling shoes is profitable. Julio’s previous line of work was agriculture, and through it he could cover his family’s needs and pay for his children’s studies.

Julio travels to the capital city to buy shoes. It takes him two hours by bus and then forty-five minutes more to reach the city’s market, where he finds shoes at good prices.

He will use the loan he is requesting from Fundación Campo to buy more shoes and stock his business, in order to expand his coverage. His goal is to increase sales and income, by offering his customers variety and good service. He will use this income to repair his car and to give his family everything they need in order to have a better quality of life.
