A loan of $325 helped to buy rice, sugar, cooking oil, vegetables, beans, and Movistar cell phone recharges.

Ramón Sebastián's story

Ramón is married, and he now lives alone with his wife, who also works at his sales location. He is a small businessman who now sells consumable products like rice, sugar, beans, cooking oil, soap, cheese, and eggs, among others.

He lives in San Rafael del Sur in the Managua municipality. It is a tourist location with a high potential for development because of its beautiful beaches on the Pacific coast of Nicaragua.

Before having his business he was a worker in the cement industry. He later was left unemployed. The idea of setting up his own personal business, where he could contribute to the family expenses, was born from this situation.

He is requesting this loan to buy rice, sugar, cooking oil, vegetables, beans, and Movistar cell phone recharges to increase his inventory and to get more income.
