A loan of $750 helped a member to buy more grocery items for resale.

Pheakdey's Group's story

Pheakdey, a citizen of KrorLanh district of Siem Reap Province in Cambodia, is a 37-year-old mother and has three children. She supports her family by selling grocery items, and her husband catches fish for resale. She has been involved in the grocery business for 10 years. Pheakdey is the leader of a group of four female members. All four members have been with VisionFund for at least two cycles.

Pheakdey feels confident that she can improve her family's conditions. This is her fourth loan cycle with VisionFund. As the group leader, her loan portion will be used on purchasing grocery items like soap, instant noodles, canned food, and food ingredients. She hopes to buy her additional material on time and sell with a high margin.
