A loan of $500 helped to buy 40 measures of cashew nuts.

Jose Inocente's story

José works selling cashew nuts. He lives with his family: his parents and siblings. He’s single and no one depends economically on him but at home everyone works to contribute towards covering the various needs. He learned to sell cashew nuts from his parents because everyone in the family works in the same business; he has no set schedule to do his sales.

He’s requesting a loan to buy 40 measures of cashew nuts that equal 1,200 pounds. They will be processed (roasted) and then packaged for sale. This purchase will allow him to have sufficient quantity of nuts on-hand to continue with his sales. His future objective is to have a house of his own to be able to create his own family and to increase business and profits at the same time.
