Al-Ala Group's story

This group is called Al-ala and is made up of six women who live in Sana`a, Yemen.

Jamila is 42 years old, married and has nine children. She started her business on a small scale of cloth selling five years ago. Over time, her income has increased and she is able to cover the cost of her children's expenses. She has to expand her business activities so she requested a loan of 50,000 YER to buy dresses, pants and blouses, etc.. This would enable her to earn large profits by catering to a large number of clients. She hopes to grow her children up good and improve her living conditions.
