Nadejda's story

Nadejda is 64 years old, married, and raising her granddaughter Yulia who is 10 years of age. As the main source of income, Nadejda has been raising livestock and growing crops since 1996, having started her business with a sum of 20,000 som. Thanks to her hard work, Nadejda's herd currently includes 2 dairy cows with offspring, 22 goats and sheep, and 1 pig. Nadejda also works 4 hectares of land with potatoes and grains. Monthly income from her business amounts to roughly 10,000 som.

In order to continue developing her business, Nadejda has turned to Bai Tushum & Partners for a loan of 100,000 som to purchase livestock for fattening and resale, and to stock up on animal fodder for the winter. She plans to invest her profits from this loan into further expansion of her herd so that in time she can build a large house for her family.
