A loan of $500 helped to buy more chicks and feed for them.

Maria Del Carmen's story

María raises chicks. She lives with her sons and daughters. She started her business two months ago. She raises chickens to be butchered. She works with her children feeding and caring for the chicks.

She’s asking for a loan to buy more chicks as well as feed for them. This will help her increase the size of her farm and have more growth opportunities increasing the number of chickens available for butchering and for sale to customers. The risk she faces is that they may become ill and die if medicine isn’t administered correctly. Her dream is to become a strong production farm in the area and to expand the chicken sales in the marked and to increase her clientele.
