A loan of $1,950 helped a member to buy fruit.

Mujeres Emprendedoras Group's story

Greetings from Perú! Presentación is a member of the ‘Mujeres Emprendedoras’ [Enterprising Women] communal bank. The bank is comprised of five members who have different business activities.

Presentación sells fruit in an itinerant manner. She sells things like custard apples, banana passion fruit, prickly pear, and eggplant, all fruits that are good for the liver. In winter she also sells pumpkin pudding at her house.

Presentación has requested the loan to buy more fruit. Her dream is to one day have her own stand at the market. This way she would be better able to tend to her customers.

Presentación is married and has three children. Thanks to her effort and dedication, Presentación has managed to pay for her children’s university education, and she has managed to buy them a computer. Presentación is very happy with this loan, and she is grateful to Edaprospo and Kiva.

In this group: Presentacion, Cristina , Luzmila , Barbara Elizabeth , Nora Dina
