Mahuclo Group's story

MAHUCLO is a group of three people who live in the same neighborhood in Benin. The group's representative, Sidonie (who is raising her hand in the photo), is 32 years old and married to a retailer named Jérôme. The couple has six children, all of whom live in their care and have received schooling. Sidonie lives with her children and her husband. Both she and her husband cover the family's various expenses.

Sidonie has been selling fried yams and doughnuts from her home for the past 15 years. She stocks up at a market in Benin. She has been running this business in order to support her family.

Striving to satisfy her customers, Eugénie, along with the other members of the MAHUCLO group, is seeking a first loan. The loan will improve their capacity to meet the demand of their customers and help them to boost their profits.
