Juquilita Group's story

Juquilita is a group formed by seven people: Amalia sells snacks, María de Lourdes sells clothes, Maribel sells tacos, Yadira sells clothes, Adela sells clothes, Petra sells meat, and Ana Guadalupe has a nutrition club. This group is located in a sugarcane region, and its people are dedicated to the planting and cultivation of sugarcane.

Yadira is 27 years old, studied high school and is single. She says she decided to start working on her own business because she can earn more. Also, because employment is very limited, the only way to get ahead is working on her own business. She sells clothes for a little over three years. Her sales are as follows: she supplies her business with variety of clothes and in the evenings she goes out to show her products to her friends and clients. Sometimes, she also receives special orders and she supplies them. What she likes the most about her job is that she does it in her spare time and that she has met many people.

She will invest this loan in the purchase of blouses, skirts, dresses, pants, shorts, shirts, and underwear to continue selling. She expects to be able to rent a place in the future, where she can establish her business. Yadira thanks those people who will make possible her loan, and she sends them a strong and affectionate greeting.

In this group: Amalia, María De Lourdes, Maribel, Yadira Del Carmen, Adela, Petra, Ana Guadalupe
