A loan of $1,000 helped to buy one carton of mixed brands of body lotions, one carton of creams, one carton of soaps, and five jewelry sets.

Anatou Alakè's story

Anatou, age 60, is a widow and mother of two children aged 13 and 18 who go to school. She has been selling beauty products and jewelry for a few years, and she buys her stock from wholesalers at a market in Benin to resell at retail.

To bolster her sales and meet customer demand, she requested and obtained a loan from Finadev. This credit will help her to maximise her profits and to support her children’s education.
