Rin's story

Rim is a widow with five sons and one daughter. Four of her children are married and live outside the family home, and the other two children assist their mother with farming. The family lives on an island in the Mekong River, about fifteen kilometers from Phnom Penh.

Rin a weaver, and when farming season comes around, she also operates her farming business. She is now asking for a loan in the amount of $1,000 to continue her farming business by buying seeds, fertilizer and pesticides.
