A loan of $900 helped buy a small plot of land.

Victorina's story

Mrs. Victorina lives in a municipality far from the capital of Managua and has worked as a salesperson for over 15 years. She is a very enterprising woman that has worked hard to get ahead and to help her family since they have limited financial resources. She is beloved by her neighbors for being helpful and social in her community. She sells tortillas, buys and sells yucca, quequisque (a tuber), corn and beans. Once a week Mrs. Victorina travels to Managua to sell her items and gets her monthly income. She only has one daughter that works and helps her with the household expenses.

Mrs. Victorina needs a loan for the first time to buy a small plot of land to keep building her home little by little. She dreams of having a better future and that her daughter finishes her university education and enjoys good health.
