Jacobo is a bricklayer. He is married and has four children. He is supporting only two of them since the two oldest have their own economic activities and don't need his support. He does give them moral support with problems that come up. He has been doing his activity for more than 23 years. It was diffiicult for him to get ahead and acquire his own home, but with the joint effort of him, his children and his wife, they were all able to build some rooms and live more comfortably. Thanks to the work he did in different places around the city of Tarija, he became known by various people who even today need him for jobs related to civil construction. That is why he is asking for the loan, to buy more work tools so he can develop his activity in a more efficient way. He doesn't have a lot of struts and this slows him down a little with the punctuality of his work. That is why he wants to improve and offer his family a higher status of life.
