A loan of $1,275 helped to stock his business with party supplies.

Alberto Lenin's story

Alberto Lenin, age 28, is married and has one minor child. Alberto is a very hard-working and responsible man who is devoted to his family.

His business activity is selling party items. He has seven years of experience in the business. His business consists of selling items like ribbons, piñatas, disposable glasses, puzzles, scalloped trim, balloons, and commemorative items for piñatas and communions.

Alberto has always demonstrated his responsibility for paying on time. The business emerged with a bit of personal savings and out of the need to have a source of work in order to be able to survive with his family.

He currently needs the loan to invest in work capital and stock up on various products. This will give his customers better service, and it will improve his income. Alberto Lenin is grateful for the help that Kiva lenders give to people with scarce resources in poor countries like Nicaragua so that they can have sources of decent work.
