Sinat is 39 years old. She is married and lives with her five children in Kampong Chhnang Province, Cambodia. Sinat has been involved in cultivating rice and fattening up animals for more than four years, earning approximately $3 daily. Her husband is a construction worker who earns about $5 each day. Three of her children are garment workers. They earn about $8 per day.
In order to improve her family’s finances, Sinat is requesting a loan of $600 to purchase rice and fertilizer to resell. By doing so, she would earn additional income for the family. In the future, she would like to expand her livestock business and help her children earn a higher education.
