Riziki's story

Riziki is married, has seven children attending school and is a resident of Likoni of Coast province, Kenya. Riziki owns a food cafe, a business that she has been in operating for four years. She also sells water to the residents around her. She learned about Milango through an employee and aims to access credit to improve the operations of her business. Her main challenge is bad debts. Riziki is applying for a loan of 32,550 Kenya shillings to purchase items such as flour, sugar, cereals and cooking oil. She would use part of the loan to pay school fees. The extra income from the loan will be added to her savings to improve on the living standard of the family, build a shelter for the family and pay school fees for the children. She aspires to open a retail shop.
