A loan of $700 helped to buy and sell cattle.

Michael Uriel's story

Michael Uriel, 29, is married and lives in the department of Chinandega with his 2 children: aged 5 and 2. He is a native of the municipality of Villa Nueva, where his main economic activity is selling cattle. He has been buying and selling cattle for 8 years. He makes his sales from place to place. Michael is a responsible person who has already worked with the Fundacion, taking previous loans where he demonstrated responsibility with his payments.

Michael Uriel's routine is to go out to the outlying regions to buy live cattle to later sell to his regular customers and to others. He is requesting a loan to invest in working capital so that he can satisfy the demands of his customers and obtain better earnings. Michael appreciates the help that the Kiva lenders are providing to people of limited resources in poor countries like Nicaragua, so that they can have a decent standard of living.
