A loan of $775 helped to buy noodles, milk, preserves and cereals.

Magaly's story

Magaly, 27, lives with Mauro, 33, and she commits all of her work and efforts to her small child Nuel, who is 7. She and her partner have managed to obtain a solidly built home made of wood. Very industrious, she urged her husband to open a business in their home, seeing that a grocery store might be a good idea. This was the best option, since the neighborhood was lacking this kind of store. They've managed to consolidate this business over the last 10 years.

Magaly puts into practice all of her desire to work, and what motivates her the most is that she is able to always be with her small child. Fortunately, in recent years her business has gained acceptance compared to prior years, and as it happens, her supplier has given her special offers under the condition that she makes her purchases in larger quantities. Magaly, with the goal of increasing her earnings, has decided not to pass up this opportunity, because thanks to this her business will see a considerable improvement. In the future, she wants to expand her business as she has always dreamed of doing.

This is Magaly's third loan, and so this is a very good beginning for her. She is always attentive to her fellow group members, and is always aware of the agreements made by the group. With the 2,000 Peruvian soles she requests, she will take advantage of the sale that her supplier is offering on products such as: noodles, milk, preserves, and cereals. This way she will increase her earnings from her business.
