A loan of $425 helped to buy shoes and sandals to sell.

Alex Antonio's story

Alex, 37, has two daughters; one of them is 7 years old, and the other is just 7 months old. His wife is a housewife who cares for the children. He has a business selling women's shoes that is located in the municipality of Peñas Blancas, a short distance from the capital city of Managua.

He makes his purchases in the department of Masaya. Each time he travels he stays with relatives to save on hotel expenses. He started his business with savings from his previous construction job. He is now requesting a loan to buy a variety of shoes and sandals for women and girls so that he can continue to sell, since his business is going very well. In this way, he can help his family and provide his daughters with a good education.
