A loan of $975 helped buy bags of organic fertilizer for his recent potato crops.

Armando's story

Armando, 41, lives with Erlinda and they have 2 children, aged 18 and 10. They own their own house located in a rural area. Armando is a man of courage. His likeable character helps him realize his sales. He is a farmer and sells his produce. He sows potatoes, peas and corn in land that he owns and other land that he rents.
“When the crop is constant, the vegetables grow stronger”, he mentions. That’s why he removes weeds from his fields and fertilizes them with organic manure and periodic watering. He believes this month’s sowing time will be productive, as they’ll take advantage of the first rain of the year.
A month ago, Armando sowed 20 bags of potato seeds and now urgently needs to acquire fertilizer. That’s why he needs your help. This is his 7th loan with MFP. He promises to pay the monthly quotas on time. He’s part of the Communal Bank “Dos de Mayo” and he enjoys teamwork.
He’ll invest the loan of 2500 soles into buying many bags of organic fertilizer, like farm manure for his recent potato crop.
