A loan of $725 helped a member to buy diverse products.

Mahukpego Group's story

MAHUKPEGO is a group of three people, whose members live in the same neighborhood. The representative of the group, Clémentine (whose hand is raised in the photo), is 37 years old and is married to a certain Clément.

The couple has two children of whom one goes to school and all are under their care. Clémentine and her husband live together with their children and take care of the different household responsibilities together. Clémentine never went to school.

For almost 20 years Clémentine has been managing a business selling diverse products from her home. Clémentine practices this business with passion, which allows her to meet her needs and those of her children. Clémentine gets her supplies in a market in Bénin.

Seeking to satisfy her clientèle, Clémentine is requesting a fourth loan with the other members of the MAHUKPEGO group. This loan will help them to better respond to the demands of their clientèle and to make more profits. The previous loans were well repaid.
