A loan of $400 helped to buy ten bags of organic fertilizer.

Jhenny's story

Jhenny, age 23, lives with Jesús; they have one two-year-old child. They live in their own home, which they recently finished building, located in an agricultural district. Jhenny is a farmer. At her young age she has an incomparable strength for working in the fields. She tills the ground, plants the seeds, tends the crops and harvests her produce, all herself. She and Jesús work hard for the health of their family. Her main product is potatoes, which she grows in several varieties. She has fixed buyers who never hesitate to buy her produce.
This month, the majority of the farmers are planting, and she does not want to fall behind. She will begin sowing a crop of “Canchán” potatoes, and she needs your help to buy bags of fertilizer. This is her third loan with MFP. She promises to repay her quotas punctually. She belongs to the “Progreso Cayán” communal bank. She feels comfortable working with the happy, responsible bank members.
With these 1000 soles, she will be able to acquire 10 bags of organic fertilizer for her potato crops.
