Ali is a 42-year-old divorced man and father of three children. He works as a cook and sells special dishes of beans, chick peas and other related tasty plates. Ali works hard to provide his children the best living, because he believes that they must live a normal life just like any child. He puts so much effort into being their beloved and caring parent, as well as the working and supportive father.
Just like most Palestinians living in Lebanon, Ali works hard to improve and expand his business as much as he can in order to improve his children's living, and provide them almost everything they need.
Ali has been an Al Majmoua borrower for nine consecutive cycles. All of the previous cycles helped a lot in improving his working area, in addition to purchasing new furniture for his house.
What makes his business different is the special dishes he provides. Most of his customers are neighbors and tourists visiting the historical Saida region. It's just the bad security situation that affects his business development and he hopes that this will end soon.
Today he is applying for a loan from Kiva's partner Al Majmoua, in order to buy a new refrigerator, plates, a new bean grinding machine, in addition to a TV and a washing machine for his house.
