A loan of $650 helped to purchase quail eggs and pay for a plot of land.

Ana Lucia's story

This lady, Ana, is entering into her second loan cycle with the communal bank 'Más que Vencedoras' (More than Winners). She lives in the city center of Azogues, a city characterized by the skillful hands of its artisans and the friendliness of its people. The center is a mix of colonial and modern architecture, and people still maintain the traditions and culture of their ancestors.

Ana, 26, is married with two children age 6 and 1. Her eldest daughter is studying in a school in the city and her husband has a quail egg business. They do not own their own home, and are living in a rented property.
Ana is a housewife and takes care of the household tasks and their daughters.

The money from this loan will be invested in her husband's business. They will buy quail eggs to sell and help pay for a plot of land they acquired on which to build their house.
Ana's goal is to build her own house.
