Beatrice's story

Beatrice is a resident of Kongowea, Kenya. She is married and runs a grocery stall, which has been operating for more than ten years. Besides this, Beatrice is a farmer, and she also sells clothes.
Beatrice sold some of her farm produce to obtain capital for the current business. She joined Milango to access credit for further business expansion. She is applying for a loan of 53,800 Kenya shillings to purchase additional stocks of food, such as tomatoes and potatoes, for resale.
Beatrice’s future ambition is to own a cosmetics shop. The challenges she needs to overcome are high cost of transportation and the low seasons.
