Juan Carlos decidió estudiar esta carrera por que siempre ha tenido interés por manejar equipos industriales, su carrera dura 5 años y actualmente cursa el tercer año, a sus estudios le dedica 07 horas diarias, por otro lado en sus ratos libres labora como diseñador mecánico, ingreso que le sirve para algunos gastos como pasajes y libros. Juan Carlos quiere terminar su carrera y especializarse en gerencia de proyectos para minería algo muy requerido debido al desarrollo minero en el Perú, con el dinero de su préstamo podrá solventar sus capacitaciones y cursos extracurriculares, así podrá seguir estudiando sin tener que preocuparse por esos pagos, su mayor sueño para el futuro es formar su propia empresa de metal mecánica.
