Domingo Otoniel's story

Domingo Otoniel, 50 years old, is married and has a 22-year-old daughter, who is economically independent. He is an internal security guard in a local company. He also sells over-the-counter medicine for a company that distributes it. Domingo is a native of Chinandega, which is located in the western part of the country. The financing he is requesting is to improve his house's condition. Such improvements consist of building a surrounding wall in an "L" shape, because he has been robbed in several occasions, and he needs to have protection for his family. He has wanted to make this improvements for a year, but because of the lack of financing he has not done it. With the financing he will buy the construction materials, such as zinc, sand, cement, lime, bricks, gravel and iron. Domingo Otoniel would like to give thanks for the help provided by Kiva's investors to people with limited-resources in poor countries such as Nicaragua, in order to have a decent place to live.
