A loan of $1,350 helped to buy clothing, shoes, and some accessories for resale in her small business.

Aleida's story

Aleida is a happy, dynamic, and hardworking 34-year-old woman. She is married and has two children who are 11 and 8 years old. She lives with them and her father-in-law in their own home. This is why she and her husband work day to day to give them a better quality of life. Aleida's work consists of selling clothing, shoes, and other products through a catalog as well as accessories and household items. She has a storefront at her mother's house and has installed some glass cases and display counters where she shows the products that she has for sale. She shares the storefront with her sister who has a different business. She has had this business for seven years and has been at it alone since she started because she she feels that it is more comfortable that way. The thing she likes about her work is that she has free time for a lot of other activities in addition to the fact that she enjoys having direct contact with people as she is a very sociable person. She enjoys innovating and offering quality products that are in style seasonally. That is why she always has customers. In the future she hopes to be able to start her own, well-appointed boutique. This is her fifth loan with MFP and she is very grateful for the opportunity offered her through this loan and the financial backing that she needs to get ahead. She is committed to making her monthly payments on time and continuing to work very responsibly together with the members of her communal bank. With the 3,500 PEN she has requested she will buy clothing, shoes, and some accessories to sell in her small business.
