Odile's story

Odile is 48 years of age, married, and a mother to three children. Two of her children are at school in the town where they live. Her oldest child is 25 years of age, while the youngest is 16.

Odile works selling various items and drinks in a store in her home, and has done so for several years. She gets her supplies in a market in Benin, as well as abroad. She has a large, diverse customer base, which comprises both local residents and people from the surrounding area. In order to strengthen her business, as well as to meet her customers’ needs, Odile has sought financing from Finadev. She plans to use this loan to make the most of her business, as well as to provide for her children’s education.
